About TempoZ

Tom Zenk first began DJing dances in February, 1986, when he worked for a radio station in Duluth, MN. He moved to River Falls, Wisconsin with his family in August, 1988. In September of that year, he bought his first set of equipment, and began operating under the name ‘Tempo Z Sound and Light’. In the early days, Tempo Z exclusively used records. The transformation to CDs began in the early ‘90s. A couple of years after that, karaoke was added. Today, Tempo Z is one of the most successful mobile DJ companies in the area with a fully computerized music library. We serve a large portion of west central Wisconsin and the eastern Twin Cities metro area, including the communities of River Falls, Hudson, Baldwin, New Richmond, Stillwater, Woodbury, Hastings, Red Wing, Bayport, Afton, Ellsworth, Prescott, Hammond, Roberts, Woodville, Spring Valley and Menomonie. In addition, mileage is free to any of these communities and surrounding areas. Tempo Z offers that unique "personal touch" to any special event!
